- United Nations of Dance Musical Performance Troupe (UND) formed in
Frankfurt, Germany in 1991 by Leonard Mardis has three base
locations: Germany, Texas and
Florida. UND was created to
promote unity, harmony and cultural awareness around the world through
all styles of dance. The Troupe
currently consists of more than 100 members and active supporters around
the globe representing five continents and more than 20 countries. UND is self-sustaining, relying on
external support and contributions to fund its events. Approaching its 17th year,
UND has evolved by combining the art forms of dancing, singing, and
acting for a complete theatrical, cultural, educational and spiritual
experience. UND’s portfolio
consists of themes and concepts as diversified as the imagination. Whether Praise Dancing at local
churches or entertaining hundreds during its African-American historical
presentations or Broadway Musical tributes in main venues, UND invokes
your imagination, heightens your awareness, and lifts your spirits with
its delivery. UND prides itself
on the mixture of international, national and local talents to reach its
audience through its diversified portfolio and concepts.
